Behaviour Log
Track behaviours like hitting, biting, throwing, and defiance. Spot patterns calmly without judgement.
This is normal. Hitting, biting, and defiance are all part of typical toddler development. They're learning about boundaries, emotions, and communication. Tracking can help you spot patterns — not to blame yourself, but to understand what might help.

Pattern spotted:
Gentle Reminders
- It's developmental — Toddlers don't have the brain development to regulate emotions yet. These behaviours aren't "naughty".
- Look for patterns — Is it always before nap time? After nursery? When hungry? Patterns give you clues.
- Stay calm — Your calm is their anchor. A deep breath before responding helps more than you'd think.
- Ask for help — If behaviours are frequent or escalating, chat with your health visitor. That's what they're there for.
